Staff Nurse (Operating Theatre)
Working Location: Novena
Working Hours: Shift Work
Job Description:
- Preparing the operating room and ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available for surgical procedures
- Assisting with patient preparation before surgery, including pre-operative assessments and positioning
- Setting up and organizing surgical equipment and instrumentation according to procedural requirements
- Assisting the surgical team by passing instruments and supplies as well as anticipating their needs throughout procedures
- Providing direct patient care during surgery, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications
- Providing post-operative care and monitoring patients' recovery in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU)
Job Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Nursing
- Registered Nurse with Singapore Nursing Board
- 1 - 2 years of relevant experience as a Staff Nurse in an Operating Theatre setting
