The Role
Product Designers are key to the success of the company’s design team. Not only does the Product Designer is required to have a good understanding in working with paper materials, he/she needs to have a strong eye for aethestics and a careful thought in the user experience during the development of the product. The role in this postion is the bridge between the design and the production team; regular communication with both teams is paramount to the work efficiency and management of deliverables to the customer. Constantly be in touch with each project development status and update customer’s needs.
About You
- Either a Degree or Diploma in a relevant field or you have what it takes to be in this role.
- Fluent in CAD softwares with quick 3D visualization skills and Adobe graphic softwares.
- You must possess good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous and detail-oriented, and be sensitive to project timelines.
- We prefer you to have good working knowledge of paper-based materials not just on packaging development but also understands basic structural calculations.
- Some knowledge of mechanical technology will be an advantage.
- The ideal candidate must be organised and undaunted by working under tight deadlines.
