To manage the Bank Critical Mainframe Batch and Console Operations for Production, Development and DR Environment which include the following tasks.
1) Route job listing to Development Environment for SME to troubleshoot.
2) Monitor and respond to System and Batch Console Messages for any abnormalities.
3) Restart Sub-system e.g. CICS, OPC.
4) Re-run/Bypass/Hold/Prioritize/Cancel batch job in OPC.
5) Schedule Batch Jobs via OPC.
6) Monitor resource contention e.g. dataset, tape for batch jobs.
7) Download new configuration item to ATM Machines.
8) Monitor ATM Partner Links.
9) Start/Stop batch initiators to increase/reduce batch concurrency depending on operation hours.
10) Restore EOS Reports as per instructions from Business Users.
11) Cancellation of Changeman Deployment Package.
12) Purging of hung CD process.
13) Achieve Job Listings to Tape Resources.
14) Daily start-up of DR Environment to verify DR replciated image from Production.
15) Escalate to SME / Command Center promptly for Batch Job Failure or Critical Checkpoint Job missed.
16) Perform Regular Infra and Application Health-Check.
17) Monitor System Resources e.g. Jess Pool, CPU Utilization, CICS Max Tasks, Long Running Transactions and Jobs.
18) Generate System Monitoring Reports.
