Role Description
As the PR & Comms Manager at Propseller, you'll spearhead our public relations, social media, and content marketing initiatives, playing a pivotal role in enhancing our brand's visibility and engagement across multiple platforms. This position requires a strategic-thinker who can blend creativity with analytical prowess to craft compelling narratives, manage our media presence, and drive impactful communications campaigns. You are an experienced PR and comms professional passionate about storytelling and brand building. With a knack for media relations and social media, you're adept at crafting messages that resonate with diverse audiences. Your strategic approach to content marketing complements your ability to drive brand engagement and loyalty. As a self-motivated individual, you're eager to take on challenges, innovate, and contribute to a team's success, while positioning Propseller as a leader in the real estate industry.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Communications strategy: Develop and execute an integrated communications strategy that includes public relations, social media, and content marketing to enhance brand awareness and engagement;
- Media relations: Manage media relations, including crafting press releases, pitching stories to media outlets, and building relationships with journalists and influencers;
- Social media strategy: Oversee the social media strategy, including content creation, scheduling, and analytics across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter;
- Content marketing: Lead content marketing efforts by planning, producing, and distributing valuable content (blogs, articles, videos) that attracts and engages our target audience;
- Cross-functional teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and cohesive messaging across all marketing channels;
- Data and reports: Monitor and report on the effectiveness of communication strategies, using data to optimize future campaigns;
- Updated with trends: Stay abreast of industry trends and leverage insights to keep Propseller at the forefront of innovative communications strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field;
- 4+ years of experience in PR, communications, or a similar role, with a proven track record of enhancing brand visibility and engagement;
- Strong media relations experience, with established contacts in the industry;
- Expertise in managing social media platforms and crafting engaging content that drives interaction;
- Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills;
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyse data and adjust strategies based on performance insights;
- Collaborative team player with the capability to work independently and lead projects to successful completion;
- Interest in the real estate sector is a plus.

Compensation
Basic monthly salary of $4,500-$6,000 + stock options.
