Our client is a well-established company in the cable manufacturing industry, catering to both national and international market.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting daily testing of cables.
- Must be able to learn/use all QC tools and equipment.
- Ensuring all QC pass products comply to relevant standards and customer requirements.
- Monthly Raw material evaluation.
- Preparing Technical data sheets & customer test reports as per sales request.
- Ensuring compliance to the safe work procedures in QC department.
- Ensuring the new products run as per the technical sheets issued (the relevant tests including type tests are identified, incorporated in Quality Plan, and conducted to ensure the compliance of product in accordance with all applicable standards).
- Taking on a leadership role in getting timely corrective action on non-conformities and contribute to create a conducive environment in solving the problem with a teamwork approach. Follow up to production to get the NCRs closed and Corrective Actions initiated and closed timely.
- Ensuring that the QC verification of correction action (Rework), if any carried out on non-conforming product, and certify the product re-conformity by testing the relevant parameters before the product release to next stage.
Requirements:
- Diploma / B.E. in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
- 2-3 years of experience in the QC Department, preferably in Cable Manufacturing industry.
- Able to commit alternate 5.5 days work week
