1. Enforce the implementation of HSE-MS inclusive of effective management .
2. The Marine Supervisor is the Officer in Charge, has primary responsibility for all the Marine & Security measures activities.
3. Coordinate, control and plan implementation and execution of safety training drills, exercises and briefings.
4. Chairman of the site HSE committee and lead the monthly Facility Safety Meetings.
5. Manage the development and monitoring of crude oil loading plans, offloading activities, Custody transfer Liquid Metering System.
6. Manage the washing, gas freeing and preparation of cargo/ballast tanks for entry, and the supervision of tank entries and tank work.
7. Manage coordination, supervision and implementation of checks and activities required prior to the berthing
8. Auditing of all marine operations to ensure procedural compliance.
9. Ensure roles and responsibilities of all marine personnel (including new personnel) are clearly defined and understood.
10. Ensure all facility personnel required for marine activities are adequately briefed in relation to their specific operational functions.
11. To perform individual performance appraisals and assist in the development of appropriate competency training .
12. Supervise the ongoing development, updating and implementation of operational procedures and work instructions.
13. Responsible to maintain Survey Program as per Classification Society Requirements.
14. Manage and coordinate marine related contractors and visitors to the facility.
15. To participate in an emergency response role as defined by the Emergency Response Procedures.
16. To perform any other jobs as assigned and to meet Maintenance/Operational/Marine requirements.
