Responsibilities:
· Lead and manage a team of talented professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship.
· Oversee the entire software delivery lifecycle for IHS Markit EDM projects, ensuring timely and successful completion within budget.
· Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization, including clients, users, vendors, and partners.
· Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into clear and actionable technical specifications.
· Conduct thorough functional and technical analysis to identify optimal solutions and potential challenges.
· Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, clearly articulating complex information.
· Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting effective communication and knowledge sharing.
Technical Skills:
· Proven expertise in SQL and Markit EDM.
· Strong understanding of Master Data Management principles and practices.
· Familiarity with Bloomberg and Copp Clark data sets (highly preferred).
· Working knowledge of JIRA for project management.
· Experience with web services and scripting languages (e.g., Python).
· Knowledge of scheduling tools like Control M (a plus).
· Markit EDM Certification (highly preferred).
Additional Requirements:
· Minimum of 10 years of experience in a Team Lead/Technical Lead/Functional Lead role.
· Demonstrated success in software delivery management, including planning, execution, and risk mitigation.
· Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
· Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
