Job Scope:
- To assist Technical Manager/Superintendent in all technical and safety matters concerning designated vessels and to implement the technical and safety policies of the Company on these vessels as directed by Technical Manager.
- Carrying out repair maintenance and servicing of vessels as per the instructions of the Technical Manager/Superintendent
- Monitor all vessels to ensure that the certificates are up to date and monitor overall safety, technical and commercial operations
- Evaluate and enhance a good management of inventory supply of spare parts/stores, both deck and engine equipment manuals, drawings and certificates accounted for all vessels
- To review engineering design/drawings, technical specifications and documentation while undertaking new delivery in meeting project specifications
- Assist to conduct vessel condition inspection and safety meetings with ship crew
- Joint involvement in preparation and conducting internal audits and attendance to external audits, Sire with proper close out for both shipboard and office; in accordance to SMM & Company's procedures
- Advising the Master and Chief Engineer of planned maintenance and maintenance work to be carried out by the ship’s staff and arranging this.
- Assist in the maintenance of safety equipment to legislative requirements and Company standards onboard vessels.

The requirements will be
- Diploma in marine or mechanical engineering.
- Seagoing experience as a Third or Fourth Engineer (at least COC Class 4/5) on board tankers.
- Minimum 1-2 years relevant experience in similar position.
- Familiar with statutory and class requirements
- Knowledge of PMS and SMS system
