Job Description:
- Support the team’s initiatives globally with a focus on equities indices and products.
- Provide company’s clients with indexing and technology solutions.
- Serve as the owner of the internal and external projects as well as product roadmap and development.
- Uncover and understand customer needs and translate them into requirements for Engineering teams to implement.
- Manage the launch of new products and indices working with internal teams including user acceptance testing.
- Support content creation (white papers, blogs, marketing collateral) on new and existing products.
- Follow competitors and conduct internal pipeline capability analysis regularly.
Job Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree required. Master’s degree in a relevant field or progress towards a CFA Charter holder status a plus.
- 1-5 years of relevant work experience in financial services industry.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills are essential, comfort with large financial datasets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skill. The position requires interacting with sophisticated clients. The ability to learn and ask questions is paramount.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a global team. Candidate can effectively influence others and gain their consensus when needed.
- Demonstrated ability to handle steep learning curves; Candidate should be very comfortable dealing with ambiguity and uncertainty.
- Willing to take calls and meetings during U.S. morning time.
