Senior Account (Corporate Finance)

Mi International Pte. Ltd.

The position will report to the Corporate Financial Controller and may require travelling.


The roles & responsibilities of the position include but not limited to the following:-


  • Review/Compile the monthly consolidated financial report as well as the financial reports of Malaysian subsidiary companies
  • Analyze consolidated financial statement and perform analytical review and MD&A
  • Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close with on time reporting to management
  • Prepare quarterly reporting and announcement to Bursa Malaysia and ensure compliance with Bursa Listing Requirements
  • Liaison with Company Secretary and assist in preparation of board papers for Board meeting, EGM, AGM and any other announcements
  • Provision of necessary accounting and auditing information to the corporate board, shareholders and stakeholders when need be.
  • Perform HR related tasks for some Singapore and Malaysian subsidiary companies
  • Engage with ESG team for project related to corporate governance and annual report preparation, i.e. Sustainability Reporting Statement, Corporate Governance Review
  • Liaise with internal & external auditor and tax agent to ensure smooth process of relevant reporting and to meet dateline.
  • Liaise with company secretary, share registrar, lawyer and investment banker in respect of corporate related matters
  • Involve in incorporation of new subsidiary within the Group and ensure proper setup of accounting software and system when necessary
  • Assist in corporate exercise, eg. liaise with advisors and prepare relevant data compilation
  • Keep abreast with the latest development in accounting standards (e.g. MFRS), tax rules and regulations (e.g. SST) and provide guidance to the team, as needed
  • Any other ad-hoc tasks and assignments as instructed


Requirements:

  • Degree/ACCA and above
  • At least 3 years of experience managing full sets of accounts
  • Strong leadership and initiative, meticulous and analytical
  • Able to perform the full spectrum of accounting duties independently
  • Able to manage stress and meet necessary deadlines
  • Self motivated with a can do attitude important
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel
  • Able to speak & read Chinese
