Job Title: Cybersecurity Engineer
Position Overview:
As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and optimal performance of our cybersecurity platform. You will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients, resolving platform-related issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement solutions and enhancements. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technology in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to users experiencing issues with the cybersecurity platform, including troubleshooting and resolution of software, hardware, and network-related issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including software developers and cybersecurity experts, to identify and address platform deficiencies, bugs, and vulnerabilities.
- Assist in the implementation and configuration of cybersecurity solutions, ensuring compatibility, reliability, and performance.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, troubleshooting procedures, and knowledge base articles.
- Conduct periodic system audits and performance assessments to ensure the cybersecurity platform meets security standards and regulatory requirements.
- Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies, and contribute insights to enhance the platform's effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a technical support role, preferably within the cybersecurity or IT industry.
- Strong understanding of networking principles, operating systems, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting software and hardware issues, with experience using diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) and experience with automation tools is a plus.
- Professional qualification in information security, such as CISSP / CISM / CEH will be advantageous
