Job Summary
As a HR & Payroll Officer, you will be in charge of all payroll matters for a headcount of approximately 800 in the Oil and Gas Industry. This includes the creation of new employee and employee data base management.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prompt & accurate monthly payroll and overtime processing
- Prepare payroll reports required for internal use and/or submission to relevant authorities
- Process government claims (Employee Maternity Leave, Childcare Leave, in-camp Training etc.)
- Attend to regulatory surveys, audits and system
- Review and ensure payroll procedures are aligned with corporate governance controls
- Assist with preparation of salary and allowances budget and reviews
- Leave administration
- Submit employees’ yearly income to IRAS (IR8A & IR21)
- Liaise with Operations to ensure data is accurate, timely & complete
- Participate in the implementation of new system
- Support other financial reporting functions and ad-hoc projects

Required Qualifications and Experiences
- Minimum Diploma in Human Resource Management or relavant field
- At least 2 years experience in Payroll
- Good knowledge of payroll and labour regulation such as Employment Act
- Knowledge in Timesoft
- Available immediately or short notice period
