Duration and Timings:
- Contract Period: From April 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024.
- Working hours per week: 42 hours.Mondays to Thursdays: 8 am to 5 pm (including 30 minutes lunch).
Fridays: 8 am to 4:30 pm (including 30 minutes lunch).
Service usually not required on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Design and conduct structured computing programs for the Infocomm Club, covering areas such as coding, app development, 3D printing, graphics, and utilizing tools like Swift Playgrounds, Scratch, Thunkable, Tinkercad, etc.
- Facilitate structured computing programs on "Learning with iPad" as part of the 1:1 Personalized Learning Device Program, and on Learning Management Systems such as Student Learning Space, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and Apple Classroom.
- Provide training on educational technology tools like gamification, Augmented Reality, and Virtual Reality.
- Maintain IT tools and software used for IT programs, workshops, and Project Work.
- Assist teachers-in-charge of the Infocomm Club with AV training for students, support school events, maintain the school PA system, and manage live streaming using OBS.
- Guide students in video production, editing using software like Final Cut Pro, and promote the use of the Recording Studio.
- Organize and conduct makerspace workshops, maintain makerspace equipment, and assist students in utilizing makerspace tools.
- Assist in providing IT training workshops to teachers for integrating educational technology into teaching and learning.
- Co-teach lower secondary Project Work in coding using the Design Thinking framework.
- Assist in any other tasks required by the Head of ICT, Senior Head of ICT, ICT Manager, Principal, and Vice-Principals.
Qualifications:
- ITE/Diploma holder in an IT-related discipline.
- Possess professional certifications.
- Digital literacy with expertise in Apple hardware and application ecosystem, Edtech tools, AV systems, broadcasting tools, and maker tools.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in designing and conducting coding and makerspace workshops.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in training students to operate AV systems for events.
