About IMCS

The Institute of Management Consultants (Singapore) (IMCS) is a professional body representing management consultants in Singapore. We promote the skills and knowledge of management consultancy, and adoption of the highest standards of conduct by management consulting profession. We support the professional development of management consultants through our membership services, training and certification programmes. IMCS is a member of the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes (ICMCI).


About the Role

Eager to learn more about management consultancy and try new challenges, and want to work in a dynamic environment? IMCS is looking for a full-time Manager to join our team. The job scope includes the following:

  1. Drive business development, marketing and outreach activities for IMCS.
  2. Contribute to membership growth.
  3. Organise and support regular networking events for members, including industry outreach.
  4. Evaluate potential opportunities with partners to ensure alignment with the development of the Institute’s products and services portfolio.
  5. Implement stakeholder management strategies to drive collaboration.
  6. Undertake such other work as may be assigned by the Management Council.
  7. Certain secretariat work to be expected.

Requirements

  • Degree in business/ marketing related discipline
  • At least 2 years of sales / business development related work experience in a managerial position
  • Experience in Trade, Association and Chambers (TAC) work will be an added advantage
  • Highly focused, self-driven, organised and with great attention to detail
  • Ability to handle several ongoing projects, and to work across disciplines and undertake a wide variety of tasks
  • Excellent interpersonal, strong verbal and written communication skills


As a non-profit organisation, our team works closely with our Management Council and supports one another. Thus, our new team member should be experienced in minute writing, preparation of reports, and able to work with various stakeholders in public and private sectors.
