Sales Manager

Hong Hin Motor Works

Role Description:

1. Recruit, train, and motivate a team of sales representatives.

2. Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.

3. Work closely with the service department to coordinate sales efforts and ensure seamless delivery of repair services.

4. Monitor sales performance metrics, such as revenue, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction scores.

5. Develop and manage the sales department budget, including expenses related to staffing, marketing, and promotional activities.


Specific roles :

1. Train new hires on product knowledge, sales techniques, customer service skills, and company policies.

2. Develop standardized protocols and procedures for handling customer inquiries and concerns effectively and ensure all team members are trained on the protocols .

3. Work with the service department to manage incoming leads and inquiries, ensuring they are promptly followed up on and converted into service appointments or sales opportunities.

4. Identify and define key sales performance metrics relevant to the car repair industry, such as revenue, conversion rates, average transaction value, and customer satisfaction scores.

5. Forecast expenses related to staffing, including salaries, bonuses, commissions, and benefits for sales team members.


Technical skills and competencies:

1. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

2. Proficiency in using CRM software to manage customer interactions, track inquiries, and maintain customer records.

3. Proficient verbal and written communication skills to articulate protocols, procedures, and information clearly to team members and ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships with team members, customers, and other departments.

4. Ability to analyze data and identify meaningful insights related to sales performance with

competency in interpreting quantitative data and using statistical methods to draw conclusions.

5. Proficiency in financial analysis to assess past trends and forecast future expenses accurately.
