The Role
We are looking for an ambitious and experienced Senior/Account Manager who desires to help dynamic technology clients make their mark on the world, and, in doing so, help build Bud into the leading comms agency for challenger tech brands.

We're looking for someone with:
- A keen interest and passion for disruptive brands
- Experience in leading client accounts, client meetings and ensuring accounts are on track, organised and delivering value for our clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to craft engaging written content and present their ideas clearly and confidently.
- Ability to foster brilliant relationships with media, clients and co-workers.
- Experience leading and managing teams, working with junior members to help develop their capabilities.
- A business mindset with the ability to grow client partnerships through building valuable, trust-based relationships.

Responsibilities and Skills:
- Strategic input: you will feed into client strategies and will need a strong ability to draw on insights, data and broader research.
- Team management: you will manage a team to deliver excellent client results, including effective utilisation, profitability and scope.
- Senior client management: Whilst the senior leadership team will support you, you will be responsible for managing senior client interactions on a day-to-day basis, so you need to be someone senior clients can depend on and look to for guidance.
- Supporting the training and management of junior team members.
- Driving business growth through scaling existing client accounts and helping to identify and pitch for new business.
- Copywriting skills: You need to be hot on spelling & grammar as well as have a creative flair for producing engaging and intelligent copy.
- Presentation skills: From communicating ideas to your team to presenting stories to journalists, you need to organise information in a concise and engaging way to capture their attention.
- Effective organisation and project management skills: You will play a critical role in ensuring we stay on track with project timelines and deliverables.
- Media Expertise: You can spot a news story, craft a media angle and run the press office with panaché.
- Strong interpersonal skills: Whether it’s over the phone, by email or in person, at Bud we’re all about people, so you need to be approachable, friendly and empathetic and be able to relate to people on different levels within the agency, with clients, partners and with the media.
- Brilliant time management will often be working to tight media deadlines and meeting your team's and clients' demands and pressures, so you need to work quickly and efficiently without compromising on quality.
