Functional Responsibilities
- Handle full set of accounts (including Fixed assets addition and disposal, bank reconciliation, prepare journal vouchers, intercompany billings etc.)
- Perform month end closing and prepare management reports with schedules
- Work with external parties (e.g., company secretary, banks) and internal parties in resolving the finance and accounts-related issues
- Prepare and submit quarterly GST reports
- Reconciliate inter-company transaction and balances by monthly basis
- Prepare audit schedules and assist in drafting financial statement during audit period
- Assist in preparing government documents required such as annual tax return, estimated chargeable income (ECI) submission to tax agent and statistics form.
- Prepare monthly income statement by project and ensure that are correctly recorded to the projects and cost centers
- Receivable’s function: 1) Raise invoices/ Credit notes to customers and arrange send out the document by courier services to customer (if necessary). 2) Key in collection in the systems.
- Maintain vessel schedule: 1) Update the vessel utilization report file. 2) Prepare/ update fuel utilization and reconciliation by vessel by project by months.
- Close Holding company and prepare the consolidated P&L.
- Undertake ad-hoc assignments as and when required
