Singapore is a vibrant multicultural city. The South32 Marketing Organisation is a dynamic team, focussed on responsibly maximising the revenue line through the sale of all production, associated supply chain logistics and informing a single view of markets and future prices.

ABOUT THE ROLE


This role is a Permanent position Monday to Friday, Located in our Singapore Office.


The General Manager Aluminium & Derivatives leads the team to meet performance goals and ensures compliance with internal and external rules and regulations. The General Manager also oversees the Book Management processes and implements the Marketing Business Plans for the commodity.


Reporting to VP Head of Marketing, other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

· Identify, build and develop the team’s talent and capability, including a pipeline of talent for key positions.

· Drive Organisational, cultural and innovative change.

· Ensure a safe, sustainable disciplined approach to work.

· Provide customer account management for global traders and customers with businesses that substantially cross a regional marketing structure.


ABOUT YOU


You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

· Minimum 10+ Years Experience in management and leadership

· Experience in a sales/marketing role, preferably within the commodity markets.

· Strategic thinking with the ability to deal with complexities.

· Leads Change, empower others with the ability to coach and lead versus doing.

· Has business acumen and technical knowledge to drive and extract value for the commodity.

· Ability to drive innovation and improvement.


Qualifications for this position are:

· Possess a Bachelor’s degree in a commercial, economics, technical and/or relevant business discipline
