Job Description:
- Perform practical details design, drafting and modelling for structural steelwork.
- Prepare tender/submission/shop/ fabrication drawings based on the concepts given by Technical Manager and Engineers.
- Implement and improve structural steel details design based on practical, competitive and economical approach, optimize and standardize drawing format and details.
- Assist the Company to improve drawing quality and appearance, eliminate mistake and minimize error.
- Coordinate with factory, site team on structural steel details and amendments. Visit factory and site when required.
- Able to undertake any other duties assigned by Technical Manager.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or higher in Civil or Structural Engineering, with 3 years’ or above work experience in structural steel detailing and drafting.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Microstation and other drafting software as work required. Able to produce engineering drawings rapidly in advanced quality, accuracy and appearance.
- Good knowledge on engineering drawing standards and authority requirements.
- BIM experience (Tekla Structures and Revit) would be an advantage.
- Proactive, cooperative and supportive work attitude.
Work Hours: Monday to Friday - 9:00am to 5:30pm
