Account Development is about building deep client relationships & unlocking solutions across the NIQ portfolio enabling our customers to succeed.
The Account Development person is responsible for all client activity and overall success of NIQ at the client. This includes driving timely outcomes and client value (client satisfaction) through the analytics delivered that support NIQ’s ability to achieve revenue goals. Accountable for overall client financials. Works successfully across a matrixed organization structure, fully leveraging the service model. Essentially the general manager of a client or assigned clients.
Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining strong networking and C-suite engagement with key players at client and leading discussions with a wide range of decision influencers and budget owners
- Developing external Joint Business Plan with client & achieving the operating plan for assigned client(s)
- Negotiating & managing regional NIQ contracts with clients to deliver on commitments
- Identifying sales opportunities for NIQ Services and Solution to help the client achieve strategic objectives
- Partnering with Sales Leaders in the region at NIQ to enable them to achieve sales goals
- Gaining familiarity with NIQ portfolio and inter-connectivity of different solutions
- Promoting NIQ through presentations at conferences and similar external events to cultivate specific new client leads and opportunities among existing clients
- Working collaboratively with Practice/Retail Analytic Consulting teams to ensure all work is connected to client business issues, is delivered on-time and focused on the outcome
Qualifications
- University Undergraduate or Masters Degree
- 10 years of total working experience, with a minimum of 5 years in the industry experience related to enterprise sales, eCommerce, analytics, revenue management, CPG, consulting, information, technology and
- Demonstrated strength in analytics
- Experience working with complex client relationships and client issue resolution
- Experience in management and coaching
- Highly proficient in data analysis and Microsoft Office
- Prior experience with NIQ solutions
- Financial Management Experience (Preferred)
- Proven track record of building client engagement (Preferred)
