Responsibilities:
- Coordinate supplier and subcontractors teams, activities and costs as related to the programmes, specification and safety requirements that the works relate to.
- Prepare the subcontractor bill of quantities, specifications, contracts and programmes and schedules for the tender/works
- Monitor and measure contractors works and assist the QS to certify valuations
- Preparation of Cost value reports
- Ensure the periodic reviews of suppliers and sub-contractors
- Co-ordinate project teams and assess the works
- Attend daily and monthly meetings as required by contract and operations
- Ensure contractors conform to and submit all relevant SHEP documents as necessary
- Assist in preparation of project budgets and monitor the monthly actuals against planned
- Obtaining of quotations and sourcing of items required by the operations
- Provide technical information on specifications supply and logistics arrangements facilitating efficient procurement, clearance, storage and distribution of supplies and equipment, in support of the projects and requirements of the company.
- Perform regular market research to identify and recommend potential local suppliers.
- Maintain data and evaluate local suppliers overall performance.
- Ability to create and/or modify existing designs and models
- Ensure drawings and designs meet project/tender deadlines
- Exposure to various industry design CAD practices and work cultures
- Ensure design review and acceptance process complies with approved system
Qualifications:
- A degree in quantity surveying/research or any related field, Recognized by the BCA
- Proficient in the use of MS Office Tools
- Knowledge and hands on experience in Auto-Cad/ Microstation, Revit, would be an advantage
- Experience in 2D & 3D Auto Cad drafting
- Mins 5 years relevant experience in quantity surveying, BOQ, supplier and sub-contractor management
- Relevant experience in construction and in track work will be an advantage
