SAP FICO Functional Lead (FICO with ABAP experience)

As a part of IT SAP team, the candidate will be responsible to lead and support SAP in Income.


Job Description:

  • Design, build and deploy SAP-based ERP solutions.
  • Lead analysis and design in the SAP FI/CO area, often in close cooperation with Vendors and Interfacing applications to Finance team.
  • Conducting structured testing internally and with business users.
  • Ensure stabilization of the solution and continuous improvements.
  • Lead analysis in ABAP area to review HANA models and interfaces to SAP system.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand the business requirement of the organization that includes current business processes and documentations.
  • Gap Analysis-finding the gap between As-Is and To-Be processes.
  • Validate proposed SAP changes (eg. customisations) based on business requirements.
  • Prepare training materials and conduct training to end-users.
  • Conduct functional testing and Integration Testing.
  • Address day-to-day queries of end users.
  • Support enhancement of the SAP for end-user based on requirement.
  • Configure Global settings, Enterprise structure settings, G/L, A/P, A/R and Asset Accounting.
  • Implement enhancements and changes.
  • Provide support after the product goes Live.


Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 7 years of SAP Experience, in Functional (FI) & Technical (ABAP) Consulting roles.
  • Experience in SAP S4 HANA finance applications /modules and ABAP Programming.
  • Highly organised, adaptable, meticulous with a strong sense of responsibility and ability to follow-through.
  • Good knowledge and experience in implementing systems integration of SAP with other systems, both internal and off-the-shelf Software.
  • Strong expertise in project delivery methods, tools and templates.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to co-ordinate and interact with multiple teams.
  • Knowledge of Insurance, Oracle Hyperion, FPSL, PAPM, BW or BASIS is an added advantage.
