Responsibilities:
- Well-versed in Construction Method Statements
- Manage Piling, Excavation, ERSS, RC, and Architecture work
- Preparing the site and liaising with other construction professionals before construction work starts
- Developing the program of work and strategy for making the project happen
- Planning ahead to prevent problems on site before they occur, planning the delivery and storage of equipment and materials
- Making safety inspections of the site when work is underway and ensuring regulations relating to health, safety, and the environment are adhered to
- Ensure progress of work is within budget & timelines as well as quality & safety objectives
- Control and monitor work progress and resources
- Lead a team of technical staff in daily operations
Requirements:
- Recognized Degree in Civil Engineering
- Min 10 years of civil engineering experience of which includes 5 years in managing a construction team for LTA MRT projects
- Well-versed in construction sequence, principles and LTA regulatory requirements
- Good leadership skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Great team player
