Job Description
- Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed
- To ensure good workmanship
- Build items by using raw materials or pre-constructed items
- Carve and assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves and other items and install them where designated
- Assembles, install, and repairs furniture in client's place using hand tools
- Coordinating jobsites
- Ability to read technical documents and drawings
- Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
- Able to work independently
- Adhere to safety standards and policies at all time
- Ensure work site/work station is properly cleaned up and proper housekeeping are to be maintained at all time
- Able to complete task within the timeline
- To perform Ad hoc duties and other labour related duties as & when requested
- Must be willing to work on weekends and public holidays
Job Requirements
- Secondary/ Nitec Education (Technical & Maintenance)
- At least two years of relevant working experience as a finished carpenter
- Able to perform shift duties and work on weekends / Public Holidays
