Job Description


As the Assistant Executive, Business Process, you will be responsible for providing system support, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and executing SOP activities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, IT teams, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth operation of business processes through effective system support and UAT testing efforts.


Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance in the maintenance, enhancement, and troubleshooting of existing systems and applications, and other business-critical systems. Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to resolve system issues, implement system changes, and ensure smooth operation of business processes.
  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of UAT efforts for new system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements. Develop and execute UAT test cases, gather feedback from business stakeholders, and assist in resolving issues identified during UAT.
  • Assist in the execution and documentation for systems and processes, including process maps, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process flows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, finance, and other business units, to ensure smooth system support and UAT testing efforts. Foster positive working relationships, communicate effectively, and provide support to ensure successful system support and UAT testing efforts.
  • Assist in ensuring the quality and accuracy of system configurations, data inputs, and outputs. Identify and report any discrepancies or issues to IT teams and stakeholders for timely resolution.
  • Any other additional tasks as assigned by the line manager.

Requirements

  • Minimum diploma in management, shipping, logistics, computer or MIS related.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and writing skills, with the ability to identify issues and propose process improvements.
  • Knowledge of shipping and logistics is a plus.
  • Knowledge of programming is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and external partners.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a cross-functional team environment, and to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve organizational objectives.
