Position Description
In this role, you will be responsible for contributing to our investment process and supporting our portfolio companies in their growth. Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Sourcing and evaluating potential investments across Southeast Asia
- Performing market research and identifying investment trends and opportunities through unique deal sourcing approaches
- Performing due diligence and preliminary analysis of potential investments
- Supporting our portfolio companies in their business plans and execution
- Help expand the portfolio companies’ future growth opportunities
- Organising events and get-togethers for the Founders community
- Assist with administrative and project-based responsibilities on ad-hoc basis
Ideal Candidate
- You ideally have 4-6 years experience in a similar role within a VC or other investment firms
- You have a strong understanding of the Southeast Asian entrepreneurial landscape, its players, ecosystem partners, etc.
- You have a passion for entrepreneurship & the startup ecosystem
- You can successfully interact and build trust with Founders across sectors
- You possess strong analytical, leadership and communication skills
- You demonstrate ability to work independently without supervision
- A good understanding of Singapore, Vietnam, and Malaysia tech ecosystems would be an advantage
