Job Description
As the Executive, Liner Sales, you are responsible for driving the sales efforts for our liner division. This includes developing sales strategies, building and maintaining relationships with customers, and providing guidance to team members to achieve revenue targets.
Responsibilities
- Support the sales efforts of the liner division of the shipping company
- Managing of tender accounts inclusive of cross trading
- Build and maintain relationships with customers and identify new business opportunities
- Monitor and report on market trends and competitor activities
- Collaborate with marketing and other departments to develop marketing materials and campaigns
- Attend trade shows and industry events to promote the company and identify new business opportunities
- Coordinate with internal teams, such as trade and customer service, to ensure customer satisfaction
- Prepare and present sales reports to management
- Identify and resolve issues related to customer service or operations
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members as needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- Diploma in any field
- Minimum 1 years of experience in liner shipping or related field, with experience in sales preferred
- Strong sales and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the shipping industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
