Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including but not limited to, supply agreements, service agreements, licensing agreements and other agreements involving the use, transfer, or ownership of intellectual property.
- Provide legal advice and support on corporate governance matters, including compliance with SGX listing rules and regulations
- Manage and oversee legal disputes, including liaising with external counsel and representing the company in court or arbitration proceedings
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
- Stay abreast of legal developments and regulatory changes relevant to the company's business
- Manage an internal corporate secretarial staff to ensure that the company is in compliance with local regulatory requirements and SGX listing requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
- You should be at least 5 years PQE
- Qualified lawyer admitted to the Singapore Bar/common law jurisdiction
- Prior experience working in a reputable law firm and/or in-house legal department of a listed company
- Strong knowledge of Singapore corporate and commercial law, with experience in SGX listing rules and regulations preferred
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
