My client is a highly-invested company backed by prominent players. They focus on renewable energy projects and environmental conservation initiatives, aiming to drive positive environmental impact while delivering exceptional value to their clients. They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sales Manager to join their dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company sales targets and objectives within the environmental conservation sector.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship-building activities.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to contract negotiation and deal closure, ensuring timely and successful outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including corporations, institutions, and government entities, to understand their sustainability goals and develop tailored solutions to meet their needs.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including finance, legal, and project management, to ensure seamless execution of sales contracts and delivery of services.
- Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory developments, and industry best practices related to environmental conservation and sustainability.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and pitches to potential clients, showcasing the value proposition of our products and services.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and market insights to senior management, contributing to strategic decision-making and planning.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our brand and network with key stakeholders in the environmental sector.
- Mentor and coach junior sales team members, providing guidance, support, and training to enhance their sales skills and performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Environmental Science, or related field. MBA or relevant post-graduate qualification preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales management, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated experience in selling environmental conservation products/services is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of environmental conservation mechanisms, sustainable development goals, and conservation principles.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team, with a high level of self-motivation and initiative.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software. Experience with environmental conservation platforms or sustainable management systems is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel as required for client meetings, industry events, and business development activities.
