About the role: We are seeking a highly skilled System Administrator to join our Global Transformation Company. As an Epic Systems System Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting and maintaining our client’s Epic Systems software, ensuring its maximum effectiveness and efficiency in improving patient care and optimizing operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the configuration, installation, and maintenance of the Epic Systems software.
  • Oversee user access and security protocols.
  • Collaborate with end-users, IT teams, and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Perform system upgrades and manage system releases.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to ensure staff proficiency in using the Epic Systems software.
  • Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct regular system audits and data integrity checks.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
  • Epic Systems certification (e.g., EpicCare Ambulatory, Inpatient, ASAP, etc.).
  • Proven experience as an Epic Systems System Administrator or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Epic Systems software suite, including configuration and administration.
  • Proficiency in system testing and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with IT security protocols and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Availability to work outside of regular business hours for system upgrades and maintenance activities.
