About the role: We are seeking an experienced Epic Systems Quality Assurance Analyst to join our Global Transformation Company. As a QA Analyst, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our client’s Epic Systems software applications. You will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying, and documenting software defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the development team and end users to understand system requirements and translate them into test cases.
  • Design and execute comprehensive test plans to validate the functionality, performance, and usability of Epic Systems software applications.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring their resolution and retesting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business processes and ensure the software meets the needs of end users.
  • Conduct system integration testing to ensure smooth interaction between different modules of the Epic Systems software.
  • Develop and maintain accurate documentation of test cases, test scripts, and test results.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of the QA process, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing best practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Deep understanding of Epic Systems software, including modules such as EHR, revenue management, and clinical decision support systems.
  • Excellent knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex software defects.
  • Proven track record of designing and executing comprehensive test plans.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Epic Systems certification (preferred).
