We are looking for an HR Assistant Manager who will be responsible for assisting the Head of HR in various aspects of human resources management within our gas manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR functions, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures tailored to the gas manufacturing industry's needs and regulatory requirements in Singapore.
- Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating the hiring process for various positions within the organization.
- Coordinate employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a smooth transition for new hires into the organization.
- Handle employee relations matters by providing guidance and support to employees and managers on HR-related issues, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Administer compensation and benefits programs, including payroll processing, employee benefits enrollment, and leave management.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with data protection regulations and company policies.
- Assist in organizing and conducting training and development programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
- Stay updated on relevant employment laws and regulations in Singapore and ensure the organization's HR practices are compliant.
- Collaborate with other departments to support organizational initiatives and foster a positive work culture.
- Perform other HR-related duties and special projects as assigned by the HR Head.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in any field.
- At least 3-5 years of progressive experience in human resources management, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore labour laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HRIS software.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
