Our client is a major commodity trading firm. Due to business expansion, they are looking for an Operations Executive to add to their current team in Singapore.
Roles & Responsibilities
Operations
- Maintain records of trades, trade confirmations, contracts, LCs, and financial transactions
- Assist management to execute transactions related to trade related activities such as LCs, Export Documents, Freight etc
- Deal with the banks on these trade related matters
Admin
- Handle the day to day administrative duties
- Arrange air tickets, accomodations etc for senior management
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in international trade or related field
- At least 2 years of working experience, preferably with experience in dealing with banks on LC matters
- Ability to work independently
- Good knowledge of international trade
- Chinese language skill would be advantageous in dealing with the various key stakeholders in the company
