In this role, you will play a key role in leading new innovation packaging qualification process.
Your team
Located at the P&G Singapore Innovation Center, you will a key member the Hair Care Packaging, Research & Development organization. You will have the opportunity work in multi-functional teams and engage with both internal and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead new Innovation Package qualification focus on Label and Flexible package technology.
- Design learning plan, define technical success criteria, execute lab test as well as line trial at manufacturing site and call out technical risk with proposal to solve for on-going quality.
- Lead overall APAC project technical assessment working with multi-functional team. This includes technical transformation of package scope, quantify technical risk, layout CPS, quantify technical resource/ budget need, and elevate prioritization. This requires fundamental technical mastery on entire package form such as Rigid, Tube, Flexible, label.
- Lead new supplier capability for future strategic innovation and saving pipeline, focus on Label and Flexible package technology.
- Lead layouting 3-5 years cost innovation masterplan focus on label and flexible packaging. Work with global innovation leader to download replicable innovation idea and new innovation skillset, and share regional fit-for-use requirement.
- Provide technical coaching to junior package organization in technical center as well as manufacturing site.
Job Requirements
- Minimium Bachelors Degree in Science or Engineering related fields
- 5+ years’ experience in FMCG sector in packaging category
- Mastery in package development and qualification process
- Strong technical mastery on entire package form such as Rigid, Tube, Flexible, label.
- This role will manage key interphase between P&G internal R&D and external manufacturing partner. Hence, experience working in both manufacturing and R&D environment will be an advantage.
- Able to work independently, multi task and perform in a challenging work environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to use data to connect multiple ideas and develop solutions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to connect with people from different cultures and levels, both internally and externally
