Marine Superintendent
Work Location: Changi Naval Base
Working days: 6 days 8am to 5pm
Salary: $3500 to $7000
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Marine) or relevant
- Shore working experience with a marine surveying company will be an advantage.
- At least 5 years of marine/shipping industry
- Able to travel overseas
- Able to start in short notice
Job Description
- Monitor and maintain fleet marine operations status
- Attend on board vessels to carry out surveys and investigations pertaining to vessel fuel.
- Co-ordinate with crews onboard, foreman and liaise with them in respect of work schedules and requirements.
- Handling port Clearance Matters
- Monitor vessels daily performance at sea to minimize delays, claims and/or disputes
- Calculating the diesel usage from one location to another and determine the amount of diesel given to the tugboats.
- Maintain direct communication, including frequent visits with crews.
- Ensure safe operations of the vessels and compliance to all international marine requirements
- Other adhoc duties as assigned by immediate superior
