Job Responsibility
Manage all sourcing activities and commercial negotiation on site requirements.
- Creating business values through prompt, compliant and commercially advantageous procurement intervention to ensure internal stakeholders’ satisfaction. Lead, initiate and drive strategic procurement plans partnering with key stakeholders.
- Initiating procurement strategic sourcing plans for all direct materials and being able to communicate and work closely together with internal stakeholder to ensure prompt initiative implementation and closure.
- Drives alternate sourcing activities and commercial discussion for key materials from both BCM and cost perspectives, while maintaining close collaboration with internal stakeholders in the process.
- Lead commercial negotiation, project implementation for major CAPEX spending across MTO, and bringing to fruition the complete contract execution.
- Identify and initiative continuous improvement opportunities and work as part of cross functional teams to deliver and achieve savings targets, while driving positive PPV that has direct contribution to site TPC targets.
Procurement Compliance
- Accountable to ensure compliance while executing all of procurement activities on site.
- Responsible to drive adherence of site procurement processes to global procurement policies and procedures.
- Supports internal and external audits where necessary, on procurement related accountabilities.
Supplier Management
- Lead and drive vendor performance cross-functionally and spearheading continuous optimization efforts with strategic and/or critical suppliers as identified.
Contract Management
- Responsible for overall suppliers’ contract management including negotiation of new contracts, renewal of expiring required contracts and ensure full compliance in contract execution.
Procurement Systems & Reporting
- Ensure timely and accurate purposeful reporting and site-wide communication of various procurement indices (e.g., aging PO, procurement non-conformance etc.), to be effectively communicated both at working (site-wide) and senior management level.
- Monitoring market dynamics that impact materials/services availability and/or pricing and provide resolutions to the site with detail impact analysis.
- Supports the team in site-implementation of any new global procurement systems and/or related tools, as needed.
Who are you?
- Bachelor or equivalent qualification as minimum is preferred.
- Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience gained from cross functional environment in procurement field, preferably with direct exposure within a manufacturing technical operation (MTO) environment.
- Familiarization with SAP and Ariba is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal language skills in English (must) and Mandarin (preferred)
- Strong MS office skills (Excel, Power BI & PowerPoint).
