Reporting to Team Lead, Patient Services, the incumbent will assist in the smooth running of the Patient Services Office. He / She is responsible primarily to carry out patients’ admission, means testing, financial counselling, billing and submission of claims. He / She will provide administrative support to Inpatient as well as Home Care and Day Care services.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and process patient referrals
- Handle patient admissions
- Handle and provide support for means testing/social support
- Provide financial counselling to patients or their Next of Kin
- Handle discharge and billing processes
- Submit claims for Medisave / Medishield
- Attend to enquiries on billings, deposits and means testing
- Attend to the auditors on the audit of means testing and financial counselling
- Any other work assigned by the supervisor
Requirements:
- GCE 'O' level/Diploma in Business Administration or relevant field
- Minimum 3 years’ working experience in healthcare industry
- Mature, dynamic and self-motivated with the ability to work with little supervision
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
