Position: Inside Sales Specialist (ISS)

Reporting to: Sales Lead
Job Description
The successful candidate will work with the commercial, marketing, internal support and the technical teams, to achieve financial goals. With solid understanding and knowledge within the life science space in Singapore, the Insides Sales Representative will strive to achieve assigned targets, strengthen customer relations, drive growth and development within an existing customer base and expand market penetration and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve assigned territories sales target in Singapore (60% individual target on long tail accounts and 40% total team target)
- Assist Account Managers to follow-up quotation <4k, provide regular updates to respective AMs and TLs
- Understanding market trends and actively sourcing new sales leads through emails, phone calls or other future digital platforms.
- Work with customer to determine their needs and requirements and to work with key team members (E.g. TSS) to provide the best solution.
- Outreach to customers on ongoing marketing promotions and campaigns, to generate new marketing opportunities
- Building sales pipeline to accurately reflect the relative placement of sales prospects in the purchasing process via SFDC
- Qualify sales leads and determine next course of actions eg. forward sales lead to respective account managers
- Generate and process new sales leads into quotation via SFDC
- Maintain accurate reporting and files of territories needed for tracking and data analysis
- Back-up for Account Managers in customer communication and tasks when they are Out of Office.
- Participate in planning of off-site customer engagement activities
- Assist and work with marketing team for logistics and administrative matters for Roadshows, Conferences, Lunch and Learn, Workshop and Seminars when required.
- Weekly team meeting – To provide updates on outstanding issues, updates for Account Managers (if any), sales numbers, SFDC forecasts etc.
Skills and Requirements:
- Good knowledge of the Life Science market in Singapore, either through work experience, or field of study.
- Excellent social skills and ability to connect with people.
- Motivated and dedicated individual with the ability to perform under stress and adhere to strict timelines
- Familiar with digital marketing platforms eg. Telegram, and other e-commerce platforms eg. Ariba, Sesami will be an added advantage
- Bach. of Life Science, Biomedical Science, Biochemistry or related field
- 1+ years of working experience within the Life Science industry
