The Opportunity
- Fulfill Network Tools works related to China XB Token Deployment project
- Identifying technological and operational gaps in the monitoring, diagnostics, and management infrastructure and implementing solutions to meet requirements
- Enhancing capabilities to analyze device syslog data to identify issues proactively or reactively
- Deepening network telemetry analysis by enabling new real-time data from network devices
- Broadening our packet and flow monitoring fabric and aggregating this data for new focused diagnostic and trouble-shooting capabilities
- Identifying common, repeatable provisioning, troubleshooting and network recovery tasks, and building automation to manage these tasks
- Developing self-service tools for application and infrastructure clients to gain better visibility of real-time network health and performance
- Partnering with network, systems, and application teams to drive the build and delivery of next generation network tools and capabilities
- Implementing software, systems, and solutions identified by the Network Tools team leads
Your Background
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience or a Bachelor's Degree
- Solid understanding and ability to optimize the platforms and technology used in monitoring networks, including but not limited to SNMP, syslog, and probing
- Experience implementing engineering solutions for network monitoring and alarming tools, leveraging vendors such as Netcool, Solarwinds, Netscout, Netbrain, and Thousandeyes
- Understanding of LAN and WAN network technologies, routing and switching design
- Understanding of technologies like LTM, GTM, CDN used to deliver online services
- Understanding of security services like Firewall, DDoS mitigation, WAF, Botnet prevention.
- Experience partnering with diverse technical teams and implementing solutions to deliver customer requirements
- Experience implementing and operating fault management solutions to increase operational uptime
- Proficiency with programming languages such as Python, Java, etc.
- Excellent communicator and an excellent team player, capable of establishing trust and securing partnership with all levels of the organization
- Proficiency in Linux, Windows, and other operating systems
- Strong analytical skills with excellent problem solving ability
- Good Knowledge on software development methodologies
- Good Understanding of API frameworks like Rest and SOAP
- Knowledge with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory and GIT
- Knowledge of IT Systems management processes such as ITSM and ITIL
- Understanding of DDI implementations (DNS, DHCP, IPAM)
