RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the development and execution of test cases to ensure that software applications and systems meet high standards of quality, reliability, and performance.
- Establish and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test scripts, and test reports.
- Coordinate with the development team to identify and resolve issues effectively
- Implement and oversee the usage of automated testing tools to streamline and enhance the testing process.
- Facilitate design and code reviews to ensure software applications and systems meet quality standards.
- Drive quality assurance efforts across the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment, ensuring quality is integral to every stage
- Take charge of defect identification and reporting, collaborating closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
- Develop and manage test data and test environments to support testing activities.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the QA process, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing best practices.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering their growth and development within the testing domain.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or any IT related field
- Minimum 4 years of experience in software testing with leadership or supervisory capacity
- Profound knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Demonstrated expertise in crafting clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Proven experience with automated testing tools and proficiency in leveraging them effectively.
- Strong analytical skills and adeptness in troubleshooting complex issues.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, fostering a cohesive and productive work environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies, with a track record of successfully implementing testing strategies within these frameworks.
