We are looking for a self-driven, committed and inquisitive laboratory analyst to augment our research and surveillance programmes at the Environmental Health Institute (EHI).

The successful candidate will be part of the diagnostic team at EHI that provides early diagnosis of vector-borne diseases. The candidate is also expected to participate in quality management initiatives and to collaborate in research projects. Besides handling risk group 2 pathogens, you are required to work with risk group 3 pathogens and will be involved in the risk assessment and development of protocols.
Requirements:
• At least 5 years of working experience in molecular biology techniques
• Experience in BSL3 laboratory is preferred
• Excellent analytical mind and systematic in planning
• Able to multitask and a team player
• Task orientated and meticulous
• Good in communication and interpersonal skills
• Willing to work after office hours and weekends if required
