Purpose of job:
This role is aimed for an experience professional specialised in advance fields of IT infrastructure and architecture, automation, cybersecurity, and solid background in traditional technologies in areas of networking, data, IAM and data centre. Person in this role would be responsible in leading Client’s hybrid platform (Cloud and on-prem) in successfully developing product and services. This position will play a pivotal role in shaping company cloud strategy, driving innovation, and ensuring the scalability, security, and reliability of company hybrid infrastructure.
As an Infrastructure and Cyber Security Engineer, you would be responsible to ensure the security, integrity, and compliance of an organisation multi-cloud and on-prem infrastructure, service, and data. You would be responsible for developing technical strategies, policies, and measures to safeguard the organisation’s digital assets from various threats and risk. Work alongside compliance and infosec team to ensure company guidelines and objectives are met.
Main Responsibilities:
- Part of a multi-skills team in areas of automation, networking, data, and IAM/compute using modern and advance technologies to design, implement, operate, and maintain company products and services to ensure business objectives and KPI and delivered.
- Own the Hybrid Infrastructure and delivery robust provisioning and configuration platform: designing, implementing, and managing the infrastructure required by software development, testing, and deployment. Ensure optimal performance, scalability and robust financial/control process are in place.
- Enhancing and actively maintaining a comprehensive security strategy that aligns with the client’s overall security objectives. This involves assessing potential risks, identifying vulnerabilities, and defining security controls to mitigate them.
- Engage with business stakeholders and IT departments to advocate for the advantages of our cloud platform built on Azure, AWS or GCC and SaaS models and actively propel its widespread adoption.
- Cooperate with multidisciplinary teams to guarantee the smooth integration and triumphant rollout of cloud and on-prem solutions. Supervise Infrastructure implementation endeavours, ensuring their punctual delivery and adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Establishing and enforcing security policies, standards, and best practices specifically tailored to cloud and networking environments. This ensures consistent security practices across the organization's hybrid deployment. Collaborating with Risk and Compliance and overall IT team to design and implement secure platform architectures. Infosec and RnC team with your support would ensure MAS (TRM Guidelines) and auditing and provided. This includes selecting appropriate security technologies, encryption methods, access controls, robust monitoring and analytics tool and edge protection technologies.
- Monitoring and Management - Define strategies for monitoring and managing cloud and traditional resources. Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting systems to ensure initiative-taking issue detection and resolution.
- Budgeting and Cost Management: Creating and managing the infrastructure budget, ensuring that expenditures align with the client’s financial goals and constraints.
- Documentation and Communication: Create detailed architecture documentation, diagrams, and guidelines for development and operational teams. Communicate the architecture vision to stakeholders effectively.

Job Requirements
Core Competencies:

- Oversee the selection of platform service providers, technologies, and tools based on thorough evaluation and assessment. Defining platform architecture standards, best practises, and guidelines for the IT team to follow.
- Have strong background in fields of networking, IAM, data centre, and Security concepts.
- Experience working in an Agile framework comprising continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
- Systems documentation detailing the functional design, purpose, and workflow of the infrastructure environment.
- Sound understanding of performance analysis requirements in infrastructure environments.
- Proven project management skills working with infrastructure implementations in complex environments.
- Implementation and management of IT governance, Cyber Security and Infosec controls, policies, and procedures
- Robust experience in the management of networking, security infrastructure solutions including switches/routers, Load balancers, perimeter defence, WAF, DDoS, DLP, EDR/XDR, core and edge firewalls and others.
- Collaborate with service providers, vendors, and partners to negotiate contracts, pricing, and service-level agreements. Evaluate vendor performance regularly and address any issues or discrepancies that arise.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Advanced knowledge of Networking: Cisco switches, routers. Checkpoint & Fortinet Firewall, Load balancer, link controllers, Advance profile systems (Cisco ISE, Aruba ClearPass), Wireless networking (WiFi6).
- Public cloud services – Azure, AWS, GCP. SaaS deployments: including Cloudflare, CloudGuard, MS-Dynamics365, Salesforce, Genesys, and others.
- Experienced in overall automation and agile principles. i.e., Self-learning systems, robots (RPA), scripting and Jira/Confluence.
- Compute and IAM technologies: windows servers, Hyper-converged infrastructure (Nutanix), desktop, Linux, MacOS, authentication and authorization concepts, Directory services (AD, Azure AD), LDAP, RBAC, SSO, Access policies and governance, PAM, Access auditing management, cloud identity management and overall M365 concepts.
- Security and compliance: security operations, incident response and security management. Familiarize tools such as DevSecOps, SCA, SAST, DAST and IAST, IDS, SIEM, endpoint protection and cloud security.
- Experience with Zero trust designs, deployment, and management.
- Have experience managing contact centre application, ideally cloud based i.e., Genesys.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Have a robust effective communication skill and collaborate with cross-functional teams, convey complex security concepts to nontechnical stakeholders, and provide training to users.
- Experience maintaining performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of cloud services and infrastructure.
- Experience writing detail documentation: HLD, LLD, PID and using tools such as Confluence, SharePoint.
- Excellent track record dealing and evaluating vendors, partners, and collaborators.
