- Develops infrastructure platform project plans using MS project, specifying goals, dependencies, identification of risks, project issues and contingency plans in SharePoint
- Participate in regular portfolio & project meetings with the global teams for gathering information and timelines required on different programs.
- Work with business units (BU) to understand issues and risks and respond to their requests for new Services –Sales Orders/Change Requests / Contracts to grow the business.
- Ensure quality of service and managing cost of delivery by looking at better ways to provide service in a cost efficient manner.
- Continually evaluated the delivery & effectiveness and make corrections to ensure quality of the services are at the best level.
- Responsible for execution of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure setup & its related projects with respect to Oracle Global Business Unit Cloud Services (GBUCS) which includes the entire project lifecycle, including project initiation, project delivery, stakeholder management, post implementation reviews and project close out & handover
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues in production and non-production environments.
- Involve in release management activities
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to ensure that infrastructure requirements are integrated into the development process.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to facilitate knowledge sharing and training
Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a platform infrastructure engineer, or similar role
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and technologies, including VPCs, subnets, routing, and security
- Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with project management software such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or Trello
- Strong understanding of platform deployment technologies, along with networking, servers, storage, and cloud computing
- Experience with cloud-based infrastructure services such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation
