Responsibilities
- Safely transporting company employees as well as materials to and from specified locations in a timely manner.
- Assisting with the loading and offloading of materials.
- Parking the vehicle properly at designated parking areas at all times.
- Regularly washing and cleaning the vehicle
- Conducting timely vehicle maintenance checks
- Scheduling vehicle service appointments
- Informing the company of any accidents or vehicle damage
- Ensuring the safety of staff/workers and goods during the journey
- Identifying any mechanical issues in the vehicle
- Maintaining a record of vehicle maintenance receipts
- Reporting any accidents, injuries, and vehicle damage to management.
- Maintaining the vehicle safe and clean
- Promptly informing the company of any tickets issued against the company vehicle
Requirement
- High school diploma is preferred.
- Proven experience as a bus & truck driver
- Valid Class 4 driver’s license & clean driving record.
- Holders or Previous Holders of LTA issued Bus Driver Vocational License would be preferred.
- Sound knowledge of road safety regulations.
- Working knowledge of Singapore roads and routes.
- The ability to utilize maps, GPS systems and navigational apps.
- Effective communication & interpersonal skills.
- Punctual and reliable
- Good time management skills
- Excellent driving skills and road sense
- Good eye sight
- Availability to work at weekend, public holidays and night shifts
- Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations.
