Job Descriptions
- Accurately process sales transactions at the checkout counter.
- Scan goods, ensuring prices and quantities are correct.
- Collect payments via cash, credit, or debit cards, and process coupons or discount cards.
- Issue receipts, refunds, or change due to customers.
- Greet customers, answer their questions, and provide information on current promotions and store policies.
- Handle returns and exchanges in accordance with store policy.
- Proper stock replenishment (FIFO) to ensure quality and freshness of products.
- Ensure products are displayed / presented in an organized manner to customers.
- To acquire product knowledge in order to make competant recommendations to customers.
- Service customer requests politely and professionally.
- General Cleaning to maintain a sanitary work environment.
- Perform other ad hoc duties instructed by immediate superior.
Job Requirements
Proven experience as a cashier or in a similar customer-facing role is advantageous, but not mandatory.
Strong communication and time management skills.
Working hours
- 5.5 Day work week. 44 hours, shift basis
- Able to work on Weekend & Public Holiday if needed.
