The Logistics Coordinator (CSO) is primarily responsible for the order fulfilment process, which includes handling point of sales inquiries, order processing, shipment and delivery of orders to the customer.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Receiving of job orders and prepare all documents required for submission based on the job information and requirements provided by the customer.
- Updating and entering in all information in the SAP.
- To ensure all customers’ queries are communicated d and resolved with Operations Teams and/or Customers, and to escalate to their immediate Superior for assistance and advice if unable to resolve the issues
- Export process - warehouse picking/packing, booking with carriers, DG packing, fumigation, collection, documentation.
- Import process - clearance from terminal, warehouse receiving, consolidate delivery onboard vessel.
- Communicating with inter-departments, customers, warehouses, carriers, transporters, and 3rd party vendors.
- Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly reports are up-to-date and provided to the Department Head on a timely basis.
- May require to prepare quotation when assigned.
- To perform Data Entry, Job Creation, Billing, General Administrative or any Ad-hoc duties/tasks assigned.
Requirements:
- GCE ‘O’ Level with minimum 2 years relevant experience
- Demonstrated logistics, warehousing and customer service experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong problem-solving ability
- On-job training will be provided
- Meticulous, able to work independently, and a team player
- Willing to work beyond office hours, such as answering calls
