Job Descriptions:
- Effectively manage and implement projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness, on-time delivery, and adherence to quality standards that meet client expectations.
- Oversee projects in alignment with the company's ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 standards, as well as contractual obligations.
- Handle both pre and post-contract stages, including reviewing tender documents, organizing tender activities, and settling accounts with owners, sub-contracts, and suppliers.
- Develop and execute project management plans, offering project scheduling, monitoring, reporting, and forecasting while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Create schedules, budgets, and specifications for project work.
- Review drawings and quantities, ensuring precise calculations for effective project implementation.
- Conduct project planning, cost control, project management, and thorough documentation.
- Provide guidance in construction planning, coordinating activities across departments, sub-contractors, clients, and consultants to ensure overall construction progress as scheduled.
- Liaise with relevant authorities to obtain necessary permits and licenses for project work.
- Attend meetings, correspond, and maintain communication with clients, sub-contractors, and suppliers.
- Address and resolve design and site problems encountered during the construction period.
- Manage actual and post-construction issues by working closely with clients, consultants, sub-contractors, and relevant authorities.
- Ensure proper documentation of the project, including record-keeping of correspondence and as-built drawings.
- Supervise work conducted by sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure adherence to project schedules.
- Uphold the highest quality standards for work carried out by sub-contractors, fabricators, and suppliers.
- Collaborate with consultants, clients, sub-contractors, and suppliers to facilitate effective project implementation.
- Verify progress claims submitted by sub-contractors.
- Monitor, track, and report project progress, overseeing engineers, supervisors, technicians, and on-site sub-contractors.
- Follow up on defective work, ensuring timely rectification by contractors, fabricators, and suppliers.
Job Requirement
- Possess a recognized degree by BCA in Civil Engineering.
- Accumulate at least 10 years of experience in Civil Engineering Projects, particularly in Marine Construction.
