Business Need / Purpose of Role:
The Project Manager is the person designated by the Engineering Director to support and attend all the company projects needs, provide negotiation between stakeholders, control project schedule and budget and provide all necessary resources to the project activities, including those regarding to the accomplishment of Integrated Management System requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Comply with and enforce the Ventura Petróleo S.A. Policy requirements and of the Integrated Management System of the company.
- Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Develop a detailed project plan to track progress.
- Monitor of the normal daily project activities.
- Provide the material and human resources necessary for the project and support the other management areas as requested.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless execution of the project.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Follow up the SGI implementation and support the applicability of all the procedures covered in the SGI.
- Address the non-conformities, accidents and hazardous occurrences related to his activities and give support for the corrective actions to be taken.
- Participate in the committee meetings.
- Participate in the SGI Management System analysis meetings.
- The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring that the personnel’s qualifications, certification and medical fitness are in accordance with the Company’s requirements.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Use appropriate verification to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.
