Who We Need
Senior / System Support Officer provides technical support to end users on various issues and problems relating to computing devices and software application.
Operations
- To provide technical support to end users on various issues and problems relating to computing devices and software application if needed.
- To understand & provide Asset Management Lifecycle practice.
- To respond and resolve tickets in timely manner and according to Service Level Agreement.
- Interact with various teams/departments for schedule and new setup of computing devices.
- Research alternatives to existing software and computing devices when EOL / EOS.
- Maintaining & keeping updated Asset Inventory listing.
- Assist various teams in disaster recovery planning and testing.
- Able to identify interdependencies when analyzing problems and developing creative solutions.
- Develop mitigating and/or preventive solutions.
- Plan and work with users for IT relocation activities.
- Assist users with hardware and software installations if needed.
- Perform acceptance testing of installed/upgraded equipment.
- Design new methods of highly complex reporting and presentation.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and create new report templates and formats for new analysis.
Governance
- Manage local licenses and legal requirement.
- Apply best practices on ITIL processes.
- Adhere to applicable policies and procedures.
How to Succeed
- Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 3 to 5 years experience in Desktop End User Computing environment using leading methodologies & processes.
- Experience in MS Windows environment & application support.
- Obtained Windows certification & certification in ITIL.
- Successful track record in project management, user and vendor management and as a project lead for small to mid-scale projects.
- Has experience in vendor management.
- Strong leadership and analytical skills and ability to work independently.
