Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Security Surveillance Service and Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance and servicing of security surveillance systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning and reliability of surveillance equipment, coordinating maintenance schedules, and supervising a team of technicians. Additionally, the candidate will be tasked with identifying and implementing improvements to enhance system performance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage the maintenance and servicing of security surveillance systems, including CCTV cameras, access control systems, and alarm systems
· Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure timely inspections, repairs and upgrades of surveillance equipment
· Supervise a team of technicians responsible for conducting routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and performing repairs as needed
· Coordinate with vendors and service providers to procure necessary parts, tools, and equipment for maintenance activities
· Conduct regular inspections of surveillance equipment to identify potential issues or areas for improvement
· Analyse system performance data and user feedback to identify trends and recommend enhancements to optimize system functionality
· Develop and maintain documentation, including maintenance logs, service records, and equipment manuals
· Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to security surveillance systems
· Collaborate with other departments, such as IT and facilities management, to integrate surveillance systems with existing infrastructure and address cross-functional requirements
· Stay informed about advancements in surveillance technology and recommend upgrades or enhancements to improve system capabilities
Required Skills & Abilities:
· Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field. A relevant technical certification may be considered in lieu of a degree
· Proven experience in managing security surveillance systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
· Strong technical proficiency in CCTV systems, access control systems, and alarm systems
· Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively supervise a team and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders
· Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
· Knowledge of industry regulations and standards related to security surveillance, such as GDPR and ISO 27001
· Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
· Experience with project management methodologies and tools is a plus
